Voted San Diego’s best EDM DJ, Lavelle Dupree has been blowing up dance floors for over 25 years. Inspired by the legendary Donald Glaude, Lavelle has developed a deep appreciation and love for his craft. A self-taught DJ, Lavelle’s musical talents have grown into powerhouse performances that have lit up the main stages in major venues around the globe.

Lavelle’s number one goal is to get everyone in the room energized and excited with his music. Regarding his music choice, “If the record is blessed, I’ll play it,” Lavelle says. His distinct ear for matching the perfect combination of songs and beats keeps the crowd entertained and begging him for more. The love for his music and audience can be exhibited in his crowd interaction and body language during his performances. You will see Lavelle with both hands in the air, dancing behind the decks, and telling the crowd to make some noise!

We have added a new DJ to spin at Music Fest. We welcome DJ Bryant Russel!
Bryant is an open format DJ with 15 years of experience in the industry. A strong attribute of Bryant’s that separates him from the rest of the world is his innate ability to read a crowd and give the venue exactly what it wants. He is trusted by Jenks Club to headline one of the biggest parties on the East Coast playing to over 5000 people every weekend. His talent, creativity, and reliability have taken him from beach parties like Jenks to intimate settings in Brooklyn, Manhattan, and yacht parties in Hawaii. In Bryant’s words, “Music is a universal language, a language I am more than proficient in.”

Saxophonist Michael Ghegan

Michael Ghegan is a true musician, defined only by his soulful, expressive sound. Although most well-known for his inimitable style on the saxophone, Ghegan is also a sought-after keyboardist, vocalist, arranger, programmer and producer.
Michael’s musical adventures have taken him from intimate performances for the President of the United States to on-screen collaborations with Elton John to arena shows with Aerosmith. Michael has played all over the world, entertaining crowds from Finland to Tokyo, South Africa to Russia with artists ranging from The Allman Brothers to Jamiroquai.
A graduate of the Rutgers University Mason Gross School of the Arts with degrees in education and jazz performance, Michael enjoys nurturing new talent, sharing his vast musical knowledge and experience with students of all levels, from elementary school through university master level courses.

Adored by crowds worldwide, Steve has taken his skills as a DJ to over 30 different countries in the last 5 years & to over 150 shows just last year alone. Steve’s talent as a DJ is only matched by his proficiency as a producer/remixer with releases on such labels as Ultra Records, Ministry of Sound, Spinnin Records, Republic & Atlantic Records. Steve has released 5 full length albums with multiple #1 records on Beatport.com and is also credited for having the 1st song ever sold on Beatport.com. Steve along with DJ Bam Bam under their alias Dirty Werk have recently done remixes for Martin Garrix, Janet Jackson, Daddy Yankee, Enrique Iglesias, Ariana Grande, Mark Ronson, Camila Cabello, Bebe Rexha & Kygo. Their latest 2 original releases titled “Stand Up” & “No Letting Go” both hit #1 on the Billboard Dance Club Chart along with having 15 #1 remixes achieve this honor. He has also just recently won Back to Back awards in 2017 for “Best Rise & Drop!” & 2018 for “Best Remix Collaboration” at the Remix Awards which take place at Miami Music Week.
